John White has been helping people get their HvAC (H3) and Plumbing (P1 or P2) for over 30 years. He has a BSBA degree in Business Administration, holds NC electrical, plumbing and heating licenses, and is certified by ACCA to teach Manuals J and D (load calculations and duct design).  He is an author of several books including, "Guide to Passing the HVAC Exam" and "Guide to Passing the Plumbing Exam" and has developed the EMS HVAC load calculator and duct designing software.  He has taught at East Carolina University, Pitt Community College and Beaufort Community College and has presented seminars throughout the nation. John sold his mechanical contracting business in 2006 to devote his energies to his consulting company, Energy Marketing Service.  EMS offers exam prep courses to prospective HVAC and plumbing examinees, is an approved provider of continuing education for both plumbing and heating by the NC State Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating and Fire Sprinkler Contractors and develops  proficiency exams for HVAC and Plumbing testing agencies.
